It can be done, but should you do it?

There's no shortage of online website builders these days. You may have heard of Wordpress, GoDaddy, Squarespace, Wix, Duda, Weebly or E-Commerce website builders like Shopify, BigCommerce or WooCommerce.

These are SaaS (Software as a Service) platforms that are designed to make website building much more user friendly versus the old days of pure HTML and CSS.

These software platforms definitely make website and e-tailing much more accessible to normal semi-techie people. But there's still quite a learning curve to overcome with each different software service.

How many softwares can you learn without burning out?

In your lifetime you've probably had experience with at least 20 different softwares. Each one with a multitude of amazing features that initially you had no clue how to use, but through a little studying and a little user experience you gradually figured out how it worked.

So building your website involves learning another software, where its features are located and how to use and implement them to get your website running smoothly.

But here's the thing: Aren't you already super busy? Don't you have a million things on your to-do list? If you're a business owner, you have a business to run, customers to take care of and employees to look after.

Because hiring someone makes sense!

A web designer does web design day in and day out. They know the road blocks to avoid. They've made mistakes, learned from them and now they are excellent at what they do.

How quickly do you want a website? Often they can build it, fill it with content and launch it all in the same day! It's because they've done it a time or two, and they know how to get it done in a fast and affordable way.

Remember to keep the goal the goal.

A dear friend of mine used this phrase, I love it and have adopted it as well. Is your goal to learn how to build a website? Or is your goal to have a website so your customers can learn more, interact more and spend money with you?

I'm betting you want the latter, because it's the right and smart choice! Why waste hours, days or weeks of your time trying to figure out how to build a website, leverage it and get it working for you when you can hire a professional to build it for you in less than half the time with far less headache and far better results?

For your time, life, business and effort's sake, don't travel down one more detour that will take you farther from your actual desires. Don't build your own website. Hire someone to build it for you. I'd love to be that someone. Contact me today!
